Shock numbers - bubblerboy64 - 09-05-2008 04:10 I thought it might be helpful to post the shock numbers which will work on my 1973 FC. Monroe 74006. I had lots of trouble getting the right shocks and thanks to my local NAPA store finally found a shock (for a BB school bus) which will work. The shocks are all the same front and back so that one number is all you need. I have no idea what other coaches this will work for. I have an original factory manual which gave me some information and then it was a matter of a days work to research and get as close to original as I could. Even called BB who had no information earlier then 1978, Not cheap $90 delivered. I am not certain where you would want to post this information or how. Just so some one else doesn't have to waste a day figuring this out. Least they are available. John Heckman central Pa1973 FC Shock numbers - mbulriss - 09-05-2008 05:32 John, I added it to the Parts Database for you. The Parts Database is searchable by keywords.
