Rally in the ? Valley - Ernest Ekberg - 09-28-2008 01:10 I received my packet from Bluebird, via Brenda yesterday. I noticed the fees have gone way down from previous years. I also noticed that there are no seminars listed. Every day says free day. Am I missing something? Ernie -83PT40 in Montana for 2 more days Rally in the ? Valley - luckyron1 - 09-28-2008 01:43 Good Morning and that was our observation as well. This is our first Rally and one of the reasons we decided to attend was being able to interact with vendors, see what's new, get ideas and more than likely spend some money too. Except for exercise classes there aren't any seminars either and we have heard from others how valuable those have been. Sharing ideas & learning from others seems like a good idea. The other reason we decided to attend is that we like Branson but we would have thought twice about spending the money for the Rally since we could see the sights & enjoy the entertainment in Branson for less on our own. We think it was a good idea to consider lowering the fee to attend but stripping the Rally of all vendor attendance & seminars may not be the best solution. Ron & Ruth in MN Rally in the ? Valley - Bob Lawrence - 09-28-2008 03:54 No Ernie, You're not missing something. Went over to the KOA. They weren't very helpful (seemed they could care less to help me with info). But isn't that lie a KOA? Looked online also, no seminars listed. Guess organisers feel they shows in town are enough. Fortunally for us, we are workcamping here in Branson, so don't have to pay the fee. Will go over and visit when it comes.
