Suspension dump light won't go out - mbulriss - 11-08-2008 05:50 OK, the title sums it up: the suspension dump light on the dash does not go out. Always seemed a little slow going off after the tag axle aired up, but now it just stays on. All suspension air bags *are* fully aired up. Checked the Clippard valves in the front load center on advice from Ralph - no leaks found. Crawled around under the rear listening for air leaks and checking the air bags. No leaks heard, but of course that for sure doesn't mean there aren't any, based on older ears! Any ideas on what to check next? Also, after finding all bags up, we went out for the weekend and drove around looking for bumps after remembering a couple old posts on that. After about 50 miles it finally went out. On the way back from the weekend, it never went out over the 100 mile trip. It does not go out at all any more. I was thinking there is a sensor/air valve somewhere that is stuck, sticking, gunked up? K38. ig powered. tripped by a 30#pressure switch K38 no buzzer. ( if the same as a 94pt)since ig powered it should go out with key off. there must be a diode between the tag and suspension dash switch or tripped relays that I need to find because I cant drop tag only and when I drop suspension the tag runs up to 100# plus so I always drop tag and main . the fuse that powers the relay for the suspension also does the backup lights. I hate having toad functions mixed anyplace in the formula. I'm in KY digging a hole. but had access to some pdf. must be aft the dump valves, follow the hissing. may be one of those fixes that require a pit or jacks. wouldnt want to tug on a pressure swithch holding up wiggle out room. There are three pressure switches on my coach, that activate that light. I found after trouble shhoting that the tag axle pressure switch was bad. We did the trouble shooting by disconnecting the leads to the switch. high up middle of coach near tag. it was a pain but we got it figured out.
