We're cleaning windows and noticed that we have one screen with a dent
and a hole in it. We don't want to do an ugly patch. Can these
things be re-screened or do you have to order the whole, framed,
screen from the mfgr?
Thanks

BB has used different types of window manufacturers over the years. I
am not sure who made your windows. On my coach, if I could get them
out of the window they could have been re-screened by virtually any
hardware store. The problem with my coach and screens is that I can't
get them out of the window casing. If you end up with this problem
the only solution (that I have found) is to buy new screens that are
about 1/4" shorter.

If you don't have a problem getting the screen out of the frame then
just take it to a hardware store.

Hi Ron,

Getting the screens out of the window frames on my LXi is not an issue. Looking
closely at the screens reveals that they are held in place with the standard
rubber beading used in household screens, which leads me to believe that they
can be rescreened. The windows and screens are made by Peninsula Windows.

Thanks guys. Simple enough and amazing, I didn't think hardware
stores were equipped to do that anymore.
