Rallies cancelled - Al Scudder - 03-25-2009 03:29

There were 2 rallies that were scheduled at Washington DC and Williamsburg, VA that have been canceled by Blue Bird Chapter of FMCA. Too bad that this has happened. I can sympathize with the reasoning with low participation and not breaking even, which is a mustfor the club to survive



My family looked forward to the Rallies that were planned by the group and have made friends with many. We are still in touch with a few from a Rally that was 3 years ago and we are in touch, in some way or the other, each week. These types of relationships will be treasured for years to come even with many miles of seperation.

We're having a week-long rally at OshKosh this August. That's pretty close for
you. It's being arranged by Vintage Birds. No lobster dinners or dancing, but
excellent BBQ and bonfires as well as one of the world's best air shows!
