FYI on FireFox Viewing BOTW - mbulriss - 04-13-2009 08:03 Just an FYI if you use FireFox as your internet browser. Leroy and I talked a little bit ago and his problem viewing the Bird of the Week photo appears to be related to the newest version release of FireFox 3.0.8. He was able to view the BOTW immediately by using Internet Explorer. I am a big fan of the FireFox browser and have been using it since it was first released as a beta app. However, this latest release (3.0.8) has been fraught with crashes. It as blown up twice today on me, so far. The Mozilla discussion boards are full of reports on it crashing. Just a heads-up in case you are having problems using FireFox to visit the Wanderlodgeforum. Many people have it installed on auto update, so you may not have even realized that you were updated to the newest release yet. Mike Bulriss 1991 WB40 "Texas Minivan" San Antonio, TX FYI on FireFox Viewing BOTW - Curt Sprenger - 04-13-2009 08:26 Mike, Leroy. Interesting...I'm using FirefFx 3.0.8. The Bird of the Week photo shows up fine at my end. Curt Sprenger On Mon, Apr 13, 2009 at 1:03 PM, mbulriss <"mbulriss@yahoo.com"> wrote:
FYI on FireFox Viewing BOTW - Don Bradner - 04-13-2009 08:36 After reading this, I updated from 3.0.7 to 3.0.8 and like Curt, have no problem with the image. I would disable all add-ins as a first trouble-shooting step. On 4/13/2009 at 1:26 PM Curt Sprenger wrote: >Mike, Leroy. > >Interesting...I'm using FirefFx 3.0.8. It was Leroy who could not see it at all, apparently not even an 'x' box where it should have been. In general the 3.0.8 works OK for me but just crashes with no warning and disappears. I had exactly those kinds of problems last week with 3.0.7. They occurred after I accepted an update of Sun Java. Problem went away when I disabled all add-ons. I've re-enabled some, and probably it was Java Quick Starter but can't say for sure. On 4/13/2009 at 9:39 PM mbulriss wrote: >Just to be clear, I can see the BOTW picture just fine.
