TIA Scott 86FC35 "Ruby" SC Water in fuel alarm - mrdonut12 - 06-10-2005 10:07 Scott, I have 2 "water in fuel" alarms. The one for the Racor says "water in filter" and is located near the Racor gauge. The one on the dash says "water in fuel". The sender for that I remember Jeff Miller telling someone else was in the fuel tank. I have 2 sensors at the front end of my tank. Jeff said the top sensor is for the "low fuel" light and the lower one is for "water in fuel". As always, you should probably open the drain valve and drain a gallon or so out to be sure it's not an actual alert. ;o) George Witt 81 FC 35 Lincoln, Nebraska --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Scott" > While in the overhead chasing the spot/flood issues I noticed that the > water in fuel alarm had been cut by someone...so I just crimped the > WHITE wire back together..FIXED..HMM WRONG..turn on the ignition and > low and behold it starts going off..The sender is it in the fuel filter > or in the fuel tank?? > TIA > Scott > 86FC35 "Ruby" > SC |
