I was wondering if anyone ever replaced the rubber wheel guards on a 1990 wb40
my other option is to redo them as they have cracks in the paint

I just touch up the worst of the paint. Have you ever dumped the air with the
wheels turned? Can't imagine what would happen if the skirts were rigid!

Hey, all:

The wheel well skirts on my 94 WB are of course fiberglass (or some kind of
composit).

At an FMCA Rally this past week, we were parked next to a 40' 94 Prevost
Liberty. It had rubber skirts and really look good.

My skirts are beginning to show a little age and some minor road damage.

May those skirts be replaced with the rubber ones? Or it might just be cheaper
to rehab 'em.

Do you know anyone with a bead blaster? Remove, prime with epoxy primer, sand, paint with a paint with flex agent. It is done daily on cars. That is how mine were done. They should last at least 7-10 years if the wheels are straight when the axles are dumped.
