2006 450LX - randymerri - 08-31-2009 23:50

I saw a 2006 450 LX advertised for sale at a great price. Ad stated the coach
had front axle and tie rod ends upgraded at factory and generator moved to
drivers side compartment. Has anyone heard if the upgrades took care of the
overweight axle problems and if those coaches that had upgrades are road worthy?

I believe the upgrades were to take care of the overweight axle problems.

There was never an axle upgrade. There was a tie rod change which was required
to allow the axle to be re-rated to 17,000 pounds. The genset was moved to 3rd
bay. Overheating problems and no slideout. The coach currently listed for 325 ,
sold for 287 one month ago. Another one on http://www.birdconnection.com/

Ask for axle weights BEFORE you buy. The capacity listed is incorrect.
