Fan hitting something - hearthandhome20 - 10-13-2009 06:59 having an issue with the engine fan, we have recently changed all the belts due to age and since we had a couple of instances where the fan appears to hit something, we cannont locate what it is hitting, there are just nicks in the fan blades and are loud noise when this happens. It does not happen during idle, has anyone had this issue if so what to do. Fan hitting something - Ernie Ekberg - 10-13-2009 07:12

If they are failing, they can allow the torque to lift one side of the engine relative to the coach.
