Intellectual Property arrives at Parliament Coach Corp. Clearwater, Fl. - bluemangroup50 - 10-26-2009 05:52

Just wanted to drop you guys a note. Two weeks ago, I went to the final auction
in Ft. Valley of Blue Bird Coach Works. I showed up a day early to look over
some A/C units, Inverters, and other items
that we could put in our parts dept. for a quick sale. I never intended to
purchase the Intellectual Property of Blue Bird Coach Works.
What is Intellectual Property? One of the owners told me that it's all
the information, wiring diagrams, floorplans, blue prints, supplier
list, parts information, etc. that makes up the Blue Birds dating back
to the 1960's. Well, just like most purchases, you go into a facility
planning to buy something, and come out with something completely
different. We had a customer last year that came into our facility to buy some
light bulbs, and left with a new coach.

The problem is, I don't feel more intelligent. Sort of like our family
dog. When we first got him, he overheard my wife and I talking about
getting him fixed. He misunderstood, and thought we said we were going
to take him to get tutored. He went all over the neighborhood telling all the
other dogs that we was going to be smarter than they were because he was going
to be tutored. Well, you know what happened when he got back from the vet.,
all the other dogs made fun of him and laughed. He doesn't even like to go
outside anymore.

I just hope this information can be useful for us all to be tutored.
We certainly don't want to end up like our family dog.

Let me be one of the first to welcome Steve Mitchell to the group. Needless to
say, I have removed his new member moderation status immediately!

Steve, I noticed you signed up for individual emails as comments are posted.
I know everyone is going to have questions for you, so if you need help to
change that to digest format after you get inundated with forum emails, let me
know.

I had the pleasure of meeting Steve's dad for a few hours about a year ago and
it was a real treat to meet a pioneer in the industry. The Mitchell family has
a long and proud history in this industry. I for one am very pleased to see
that the BB IP went to such an honorable business. I look forward to seeing
what they do with it.

Steve, you have the good fortune of a blind pig (nothing personal) hunting for truffles; the difference is that you will get great profit for your investment. After all there are still over 3000 Bluebirds out there that will need service.

does it include the Wanderlodge Name? new bird Bird logo? did you get the URL's
and domains that CCW set up? and prior owners passed down? it would be great to
lock them up and park them with goDaddy.com or some primary domain registar to
keep before the current term expire and the addresses go up for public
reassignment. it would be hard$$$ to get them back if you were able to rebuild
the name.

I see no one had a plan so anything that happens to the legacy is up to luck
of the information transfering to a party that can make money with the
information

Good Luck I hope the effort proves less of a lesson than Fido's tutor taught

if your purchase defines the url's, redirects may increase net traffic to your
site. there was over $100,000. of advertising done for the new bus. links to the
many urls now go to error messages or the domain registar's site. once you have
control of the domains you can set up the existing placed urls to automatically
direct the hit to your website. SO someone who looks for info on a new
Wanderlodge lands in your lap or learns that the name is not dead.
http://www.networksolutions.com
would have the registration information and method to make the holder transfers
to you.

you can also contact Western Creative, the flash happy web developers that
collected some of the banks money. thy suck, I like your site better but then
again I dont have a mill to buy a bus so I wouldn't be the one to impress (do
you have a bus with a slide that can support a 7 foot tall Stiletto?)

http://www.westerncreative.com/index.php

'Wonderlodge owners group' and Vintage Birds have good SE placement under the
term Wanderlodge. left alone they will only dominate the hits and SE-placement
then make them become a necessary partner. I am sure you know its good to have a
relationship but bad to allow traffic to be too dependent on
un-definable/controllable relationships and costs. I would try and buy those
social sites and clean them up like removing the index list of blocked users
WOG displays.

Intellectual Property arrives at Parliament Coach Corp. Clearwater, Fl. - Don Bradner - 10-28-2009 04:16

Greg, your post generated some discussion on WOG, particularly the line below. I
asked:

"what is your take (John and Randy) on his comment: "the index list of blocked
users WOG displays"
Is there such a list that shows to anyone other than site admins?"

John's reply was "There is no list of that kind that I can find that is viewable
by the general public, so perhaps your question is best asked of Greg himself,
as far as I'm concerned he is more than welcome to re-join this forum if he so
desires and post all that he wants, as long as they fall within the Wanderlodge
Owners Group > General Discussion > Site Rules > Wanderlodge Owners Group
Guidelines"

Earlier John had said that you were not banned/blocked, but removed from
membership at your request.

Can you explain what you meant?
