Just for the record, I've had a number of success repairing plastic waste tanks using fiberglass cloth and epoxy. SuperMend epoxy is especially useful, being of a peanut butter like consistency. I would definitely try an epoxy repair before replacing a waste tank. One tank I repaired had been driven into something and the plastic shattered with large holes and plastic pieces missing. It was still holding 3 years later when I sold the motorhome.
I fixed a leak on my FC where the outlet pipe entered the tank with SuperMend. It's been holding for a number of years.

My black tank leaked when I got Blue Thunder, and it turned out that the tank
heaters had melted a pattern into the bottom of the tank, which had then cracked
along several of the lines. I did the tank pulling and installation, but had a
local RV place do the fiberglass mending. Worked fine.
