Last week I posted a problem I was having changing a fitting on the generator
primary fuel filter. The problem was when I looosened the fitting, fuel rained
down. Much more then just draining the line.Did I have to drain my main tank to
open the fuel line? Did not seem reasonable. After thinking about it for a
couple of days I figured that the filter heads have to be mounted above the
level of the tank - maybe only an inch. I did have my coach parked on an incline
with the nose down. Couple that with an almost full tank and you get the problem
I had. Turned the coach around and problem resolved.

By the way I did have a cracked fitting.
