neutral safe switch wired around - Ralph L. Fullenwider - 04-25-2010 09:38 Hello everyone: A short time ago, I was working on some wiring under the dash of Ruff Diamond and to put the side railing back on to hold the lower dash down, I moved the shifter out of Neutral to 1st gear (Coach not running) and when done I reached to start the Coach, having forgotten to shift back to Neutral, and the Coach started! Hello, wake up call, and found the Coach would start in any shifter position and even the AT switch was not working. The following is what I found and did to return the safeties to working order. Ok, here is how it is supposed to work; Power comes from the ignition switch (RED) wire, to the AT switch to the neutral safety switch to the start solenoid. Ruff Diamond is now wired in this manner that complies with the schematic. Below is how Ruff Diamond was wire by some person previous to Charolette and I buying her. Their wiring. Both wires from the neutral safety switch (one from the AT switch and the other to the start solenoid) were cut and removed. A new wire was run from the ignition switch straight to the start solenoid, by passing the AT switch and neutral safety, so the Coach could be started in any gear. The PT's are wired much the same except the safeties go to the rear start switch as well before going to the start solenoid. Safe travels, Ralph and Charolette Fullenwider "84FC35 "Ruff Diamond" Duncan, Oklahoma neutral safe switch wired around - Bluebird Bob - 04-25-2010 11:23 --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Ralph L.
