Hi Bob,

We are looking also. One thing we like about the King Dome is the use of a
single wire (on in motion model only) from the receiver to the dome.

I Bob,

I installed a KVH, in motion, for use with DirecTV several years ago
and have not had any problems at all. Some people have told me that
the dishes require a very clean 12VDC source and if not powered
through their own 120VAC to 12VDC adapter problems occur. I suspect
that problems in the past were caused by dirty voltage. The newer
models may have beter filtering, check with KVH before installing.

thats one of the things that make them nice, one other thing is you can switch
form direct to dish with a simple push of a button.the kvh i had reqiured a
reprogram by a kvh dealer or service tech.the king also has a small screen that
shows signal strength etc, without changing the tv screen to the setup screen.
call me,i'm a dealer for king.randydupree93wb
