No Spark in stove - swanbirdcygnus - 05-10-2011 02:48 I have a Modern Maid two-burner cooktop in our '88 FC. The electric spark starter has quit functioning. Anyone know of a source for trouble shooting this, or have any similar experience? Those can be replaced easily or if wet dry by air and re try. Double check the proper positioning of the units under the knob and on the shaft. This time there is no spark; however they started working again this morning. This has happened in the past – just took longer this time.
