Looking for part for 85 PT40 Bluebird - missq32 - 05-21-2011 03:44

The hub cover (don't know the exact part name)for our Tag Axle has a crack in
the clear center part. We have been to so many places in our immediate area to
find the part, with no luck. Does anyone know where we might be able to find
parts for the Bluebird. We are only 60 miles East of Dallas, so if anyone knows
of a place there, it is no problem for us to visit there. Any help is
appreciated.

I believe that Stemco made those. They have quite a variety on their website.

You might try a major truck parts supplier,it is not exclusive to Blue Bird and should be readily available.
May have to buy the plate and all as a kit although.

That is probably a Stemco oil bath cover. Check with Ogburn Brake, Inland Truck Parts or Truck Pro - all in DFW area and will ship it on a credit card order.The reservoir should have a number on it. Get a spare so it willl never happen again!!

Just wanted to thank everyone for their help. At least now, we have some leads. Will make some calls Monday and see what we can find.
