Dash A/C Wiring diagram - ronmarabito2002 - 05-24-2012 02:39

Anyone out there have a wiring diagram for a 90's series Wanderlodge dash A/C
system.

Looking for voltage drop between relay in upper left control center over the
driver back to the clutch on the compressor.

Currently have 11.8 volts at relay and 8.6 volts at the clutch.

If I apply 12 volts to clutch, it will pull in and hold at the 8.6 volts, but
will not pull in with the 8.6 volts.

I'll suggest finding the compressor wire near the engine compartment and use it to activiate another relay. The new relay use it to kick in the compressor.

I already have planned that as a last resort. Did it once before on the 83
cruise control.

Like Curt said, Add a sealed Bosch-style relay in the engine bay to trigger the
clutch. Magnetic clutches hate low voltage. There is a paper thin membrane in
the a/c clutch and any slippage at all will quickly lead to a failed clutch
assembly.
