86 PT40 water inlet question - Greg Young - 09-27-2012 06:20

Hi!

As previously reported, I've sold Bluefire to Kevin & Arla from Portland. But
there was one system problem I completely forgot about and need to repair before
handing it over on Saturday.

When the coach water pump is on, water sprays out of the exterior shore water
inlet unless it is firmly capped off with a screw-in plug. I believe I
accidentally poked through a backflow valve when trying to clear out debris from
the inlet.

Does anyone have a part number, or suggestion for repair? I'm sitting in a
conference room at Valley Power Systems getting the oil changed so my access to
documentation and the internet is limited, and I'm hoping to get this repaired
before Saturday.

Thanks so much!

Greg,

I sent you an email with photos, and what I did to resolve the same problem. It's on this forum and WOG.
