Matanuska Valley grows some incredible stuff in it's short growing season. They routinely see mid to hi 80's even in late May.

Pete,

Even though I cleaned Alaska dirt out of the dresser for several years after the trip (and it still was carrying some when I sold it), the beauty of the state has me considering driving the bus to Alaska. I do believe its moderately hard on a vehicle to drive it up, but it's STILL probably worth it. It's MORE than worth renting a class c to drive the state.

You just need a early 80's short PT or a FC. Good ground clearance and doesn't get high centered too easily. Also all steel baby! Tough as nails!

Go anywhere.
