I am looking for some help with my 83 PT-35 leveling jack problem.
When I engage the leveling master switch the entire electrical system
goes dead. The engine stops and the jacks won't work. Does anyone
have any suggestions on where to start looking for the problem.

If they are HWH jacks call Frank there in Customer Service. I don't
recall their number but you can find them by Googling the web.
He was pretty helpful on a problem I had

When I tried using the Level Master system I got alarms on 3 out of 4
of the jacks. Does the alarm mean the jack has not swung down far
enough or too far? Is the spring supposed to pull the jack down as it
begins to extend?

Keith,
On my bus I have to have the bags aired up before dropping the leveling jacks.
Then dump the air bags.
Then when preparing to leave I have to air up the air bags before lifting the
jacks to horizontal.

Jim,
I had this problem and found the solenoid in the front wheel well,
passenger side to be the culprit. I think it's one of those
continuous duty type deals (3 posts). Anyway, Napa can match it up
for you if that's what you need. You'll find two under there. Like I
said, one in the wheel well and another attached directly to the
leveler motor.
