RE: WLWB Baffle Louvered Center Lower (Radiator)
tow operator gave me 2 choices: run an air line from his vehicle to mine, or keep my 60 running for the hour trip. I chose the latter. I didn't want an air line slapping against my newly polished coach. and he had a wireless lite bar attached to the back with some rubber bungees, so as not to scratch the coach. On further inspection, I could not be more impressed with the level of service. I will be sending the owners an email about this great service. Since this wire loom extends to the never never lands of the transmission, they had already written a fluid and filter change in their estimate. I said that I am running Transend and that we need to go back with that. Also, as Bim suggested, to update the Jake shift points from 6 down to 4th to 6 down to 5th. I have witnessed the jolt on the former and can only surmise that an easier shift point would not only be beneficial to the transmission but to my bottom line as well.

Some folks use cardboard to fab a makeshift cover for the axle openings - keeps the dirt out and lube in. It sounds like he only removed one axle Ernie; gave those spider gears a workout! With no load on it and for a short drive I don't think that'd be much of an issue. It's a nerve wracking experience!

he added a cover for the axle. Still I was a nervous wreck till I saw her in the shop, safe and sound.
