Oshkosh

IF!!! I get my 82 33'FC bought, (check is already cut),I would like to
get together with some others to go to Oshkosh.
We have never camped in anything but our plane and tent and this would
be the first time out of Southern ILL. with our BB, in fact it will be
our first trip with it anywhere.
Problems will be,
1. need power for AC for wife + pet 24/7.
2. Not going to be setup for my toad yet!

Would love to meet and visit at Oshkosh. We will however, not be
staying in the regular camping area on site. We will be at a private
location. Stay in touch and we can establish a meeting time and
location during the show.

I just found a Wi-Fi spot and thought that I would post a note about
the parking at Oshkosh. Cliff and Barbara Vaughn have arrived at
Oshkosh early and they have secured about twenty spaces for
the 'Birds to park, so if you want to go early, just ask for the
Bluebird Wanderlodge area to park in, I will be there tomorrow morning
and then on Monday morning, I will drive my car down to the Pioneer
Plaza Truck Stop at Germantown to escort any of the group that will
gather there, up to the EAA Airshow and Bluebird rally.

Hi Raymond,

I just got here myself and I'm in the process of setting up, Yes the
Wi-Fi is very strong right where I am at, better than the cel phone
signal inside of the 'Bird, but I have an external antenna to use for
that if I need to that helps quite a bit.

Where are you parked? If I'm reading the map correctly, I am parked,
just south of Elm Avenue, in the 500 block between 20th and 21st.

We can only hold two more parking spaces here at Oshkosh, so if
anybody else is on their way here, please give me a call at 803-315-
2368 so that we don't aggravate those looking for a space to park in,
which right now is at a premium and the staff here is asking us when
we will be filling these remaining spaces. They have been very kind
to us letting us keep these spaces for our people that MAY BE ON
THEIR WAY, but we don't know for sure, who they are or how many.
