RE: Brake lock up LXI
Woohoo! We all need more PE! (Think grade school PE)
This is a great topic. I just did a seal and bearings on my passenger drive hub. In checking air drop, I can see I've got some adjusting to do. Al, tell us about the new design SA's. What's the change/improvement? My bearings were a 401 set outer, 403 set inner and the seal was a 47697 (on edit corrected seal part #). The bearing part numbers are for bearing and race set. Those were the National numbers. The seal in CR is just the part number prefaced by CR. RE: Brake lock up LXI
John ,
you are correct , we have much to discuss . we will have this topic covered in depth for sure . what I learned about the bearings is this . we should check them , they do loosen up over time . the method is to turn the nut in till it sets and back off a quarter turn . I will provide more details on the SA by days end . al perna 2000 LXI ormond beach fla |
