Restored Classic Blue Bird Wanderlodge This is a Restored 1984 Front Engine, 35 foot, Rear Bath, Diesel Catepillar 3208 powered Blue Bird Wanderlodge. This is a top of the line Class A Motorhome--literally a house on wheels. It was repainted professionally in 2012, the engine was rebuilt in 2015, the trans was rebuilt less than 10k miles ago, the original carpeted floor was replaced with hardwood, the remainder of the interior was re-upholstered in 2016. This Wanderlodge was said to have cost $200,000 in 1984-- there was nothing better at that time. It is very heavy duty and exceedingly well made. Interior cabinetry is largely 3/4 inch plywood. Refrigerator, stove, built-in blender, water system, bathroom with shower, etc.--everything works. It has a built in vacuum system! Flat screen TV and DVD player. Sleeps 2 in back, 3+ in front, plus the table converts to a kids bed. We have driven to the east coast and all over Texas. Previous owner drove 3 times to Alaska and all over the western US. We love this coach! There is a very welcoming Blue Bird community and a tremendously helpful internet support group. This coach is expensive at $48k, but all systems have had extensive restoration and it is well worth that price. see many more pics through a link at: terrysaytherauto.com/vintage https://www.flickr.com/gp/13403152@N05/gL08b5." http://vintagebirds.com/ Frank DiLaura Learning Everything (a.k.a. It's an outstanding looking coach, but good luck getting that price for it.
