Financing A Bluebird Wanderlodge
Some people wonder how they can finance a Bluebird. Some people pay cash. While I am a fan of the cash scenario for recreational items there are several ways you can finance a Bluebird Wanderlodge.
Your local bank is an obvious good start but if that does not work then perhaps a Credit Union would be more receptive. Especially if your a current member. Then there are private lenders and usually a bank or credit union can provide a referral. Newer Birds are easier to finance as lenders believe they are more saleable should foreclosure become as issue. Lenders always look for an exit strategy before lending funds. I have heard of a 1990 Wanderlodge being financed by First financial Bank in Altero Texas recently. So there is a possible source. If your looking at an older Bird that a lender won't accept as collateral but you just have to have it then it is possible to put a line of credit on another asset such as land or a family home and borrow the money that way using the real estate as collateral. Just make sure you are not over extending yourself. As a last resort for some people there is always the bank of Mum and Dad. Usually the best terms and the least amount of paperwork!
