2001 LXi radiator removal

Hopefully someone can help. I took my 2001 LXi into a show to have the radiator removed - engine overheats.
In looking at the position of the radiator it looked like the bumper needed to be removed - which seems right.
The mechanic called and asked if there was access to the top of the engine - he needs to get at some hoses.
Please send me any suggestions - hopefully I can give him some suggestions tomorrow morning.

David did his radiator and I am certain he detailed the whole procedure, but I can't find that thread anyplace.
