Has anyone had much success in recovering their captains chairs. I
looked at the Flexsteel website and it doesn't appear that they sell replacement covers. Does anyone have a source for them? Thanks, Mike McMahan 89 PT 40 |

I looked in to that once and it turned out to be more costly than replacing the
seats with new Flexsteel seats. Dick Hayden - '87 PT 38 - Lake Stevens, WA [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

If your leather is in good physical shape (not worn, torn or seams
split), I would suggest you try to do a DIY re-dye. My seats had some wear areas but the leather seemed to be in good shape. I ordered a navy blue automotive leather re-dye kit and the results were outstanding! Likely navy blue is an easy match...check the internet for resources....been too long for me to remember the vendor. Replacement prices are reasonable, and then you get fresh foam and
springs instead of re-covering 18-year-old seats. - Jeff Miller --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Mike McMahan" <mmcmahan@...> wrote: > > Has anyone had much success in recovering their captains chairs.
