Separate PT brake lights from turn signals

On my FC, the bottom taillight was the brake light, the top one was the
turn signal. This allowed the hazards to continue to flash when the
brake lights were activted. On PT's though, both individual lights on
each side perform both brake and turn functions, so if the hazards are
on the you step on the brake, they stop flashing.

Has anyone modified theirs to be separate brake and signal lights?
