Hydraulic generator slide help
Hi folks,
I'm trying to fix my generator slide. I had a guy look at it yesterday who knows more about hydraulics than I do. The pump works and pressurizes the hose, but there is apparently a solenoid that is not energizing (my slide is tied into my HWH system, I think). Is there a fuse, or something, that might control this solenoid? What is supposed to trigger the solenoid? I need to climb under there, find the solenoid and check to see if it's even getting power, but I wanted to throw this out first in case someone had any ideas for me. -Ryan '86 PT-40 8V92 |

Hydraulic generator slide help
Ryan,
Check the generator slide in/out switch. I believe HGH once told me that there are 2 seperate power inputs, and both have to engage. One sends power to the pump solonoid, and the other actuates the slide. Don't hesitate to call HGH, very helpful techs there!
