Hi all,

We already have over twenty confirmations of attendance for our 2009
Annual Bluebird Quartzsite Rally, scheduled for the week of January
17-25, 2009, so we're almost at 50 percent of the 2008 attendance.
This despite the fact I haven't been actively promoting it like in the
past (been real busy hauling those new Honda cars all over California).

What started as a three day affair in 2007, became a week long rally
(actually nine days) in 2008.

In 2009, we're scheduling the rally to correspond with the entire nine
day run of the Big Event and RV Show, although Curt and I will be
there earlier.

Also, for the 2009 Rally, we are going to try a parking scheme
suggested by Steve Gureasko.

We'll be assigning the parking of coaches in the inner circle in
ascending order according to year model. Starting with the earliest
year model coach represented, we'll group and park a representative
model of each year (FC, PT, BMC, LX, etc.) in ascending order. The
parking assignments will be based on the earliest date and time we
receive an email confirmation of attendance from the coach owner.
Those who aren't assigned a spot in the inner circle will be assigned
a spot in the second (or third, if necessary) outer circle behind the
corresponding year model inner circle group. SOB's will be assigned
parking in the second or third outer circle.

Depending on the total attendance, we may only have one circle, but
parking will be assigned according to the above.

The sooner you let us know you are attending, the more likely you'll
be assigned a spot in the inner circle. As always, we understand
plans change due to unforeseen circumstances. We'll ask for final
confirmation of attendance in December. Until then, parking
assignments will be penciled in and finalized in January.
