Stainless Steel Light Covers

Novus plastic polish works wonders on the soft plastic 91 Ford
headlights that 'fog' over so badly. Certainly a lot faster and
cheaper than replacing the headlight assemblies to get clear lenses.
Got the tip from one of our suppliers that races drag boats. They use
it to keep the canopy clear and it worked great on my fog covered
headlights. You can buy it online at http://www.novuspolish.com/
It does not work as well on the hard plastic Volvo tail lights.

You can also get most of the Novus products from most motorcycle
shops. They use it to clean and descratch the windscreens.

Mike, I tried polish , tooth paste, wax, and even had a car lot
detailer do his majic on the BB plastic lenzes of my 94pt. I then
replaced the headlight fixtures with two sets of 87? ford truck head
lights Tim found on Ebay. I think it ended up costing $180.for both
sets. Ford wanted over $400 for the parts. took some time to install
(7 hours?) looks much better but now after 18 months the chrome
over plastic on the knockoff units looks screwed up (on close
inspection). for the Time involved to make the repair I would have
gone with Ford replacement parts.
