My back door bird and its little toad

Here's a picture of my bird from the back and as you can see it's got
its toad in tow. I'm trying to think of a way to use that back door-
maybe a deck? or something like that? Jon

-Jon, At an RV show the other day, we toured a bunch of trailers &
motorhomes that had back doors like yours. Their doors folded down to
be used as a patio. They had cool awnings that formed a solid square
tent like roof & netting rolled down to cover each side. One of these
'patios' had foldable bars that formed a rail around the edge for
safety. (they un-latched and swung down to fold flat against the
floor/door when closed).I think it would be easy & cool to adapt yours
for this purpose. Much more living space, bug free, great spot for
table & chairs. Late night card game?

Boy it sure would be nice to find out what motor home manufacture is building
those rear door type. I will go on the internet tonight and maybe I can come up
with company and get some idea's. Thanks Jon

OK Jon,
I am picturing the back of a rail car with a nice porch, wrought iron
railing and overhang to keep off the weather. Then you could rent
out the coach to politicians.
Or move the hinges to the base of the door and you could use it as a
ramp to go back and get stuff out of the car while you are traveling.
8-). Although on mine, a back door would look like a loft door on a
barn to get over the engine.
I am really envious. With a herd of dogs, a back door could lead to
the portable kennels and keep them from tracking thru the whole coach.

The other day going westbound on the Ohio Turnpike, I saw a converted
pusher schoolie (or bookmobile) with a new cream paint job and
"Charter" painted over the windshield. Looked like a really nice unit
and a heck of a step up from a rented limo.

Very interesting that you would mention a pack of dogs! This is the reason for
the backdoor on the Rebel Bird. The original owners were a couple who raised
and showed Great Dane's around the Southwest and California. At one time there
was a kennel in the back but now its been converted back to a bedroom. I have
attached a picture of the lady who originally owned my bird and her great big
