The first encounter with a bird? My first was when I had a "BIG" 27
foot Southwind and a friend had a new 35FC. We were dry camped at a
lake in West Texas. he could not get his generator to start. Being the
neurosurgeon that he was he could not figure it out. I asked him to
open the generator compartment. With my Southwind, you just open the
outside compartment door- and there it was. He had to air his coach up
and flip the switch. i thought his legs were going to break when that
thing came out so fast.
I looked over and around- kinda in awe as to what I saw. Actually, that
equaled to not knowing what the crap I was looking at. i spotted that
fuse on the control panel. Opened it up, and found the fuse was blown.
Talk about being a hero-- me- of all people solved the problem. That
has been so long ago, I guess he bought the first round~
