I don't know what chargers the PT series had in it. Modern chargers regulate by the battery condition and other loads. The older BB chargers in the FCs go full bore all the time.

I have a smart charger and installed over a year ago and also put an electical
110 switch to turn it oft at the site I installed it at. So with the new
batteys installed tomorrow I should not have any problems. (I hope?)

Well two hundred and seventeen dollars spent on two battterys and now I
hope my problems are over with. Those batterys weigh in at 60 lbs

The batteries
will not make it pass this summer u should have put 4 in OR just use the last two until the went outand then replace all four. I did this last year on my bank of12 volts.Took the bad on out of theloop and waited until the next time to replace the bad one.
