Bluebird Craig Colordo 1995
Hi All, I hope no one in our group is bidding on the bluebird in Craig Co. I
inspected this coach last week. It's a mess. The detroit 60 series is a used truck engine with 750 thousand miles on it. The coach has the rear lights replaced with aluminum ??? that has been home made. The Jacks don't work along with numerous other things that don't work. The right side has been damaged and the cargo doors are totally out of alignment. The cargo compartment's look like used auto parts have been hauled in them. The windshield is broken, and the awnings all have strap's on them going up to the sheep rain holding them up. The rear cowling for the engine compartment has home-rubber strap's holding it closed. Huge scratch's down the right side plus paint coming off the front and the bumper is cracked and out of place. The inside is not as bad, the problem there is that the large two door refer has been replaced with a smaller one, they then tried to build in the side with a cabinet of sort's and it's a disaster, not straight and the wood does not match the origional. When the engine run's it surges and all the instrument's surg along with it. some of them don't work. Lot's of blow-by coming out of the slobber tube under the coach. When I looked at it it was parked under a tree and the branch's were covering the roof, I would have needed a chain saw to get from one end of the roof to the other. Buyer BEWARE.....Bob 79FC 85PT 93PT--now coachless in Illinois, But...Looking... |

Bluebird Craig Colordo 1995
Bob,
The bid is $70,200 and the reserve is not met. Isn't that higher than it was advertised on craigslist? >Hi Dave, It was on craig's list for $75,000. He said he would take $65,000 the day I was there. I think whoever buy's it will be really disappointed. Did you notice there are no pictures of the outside or bay area's etc......also the inside pictures don't show the front of the refer area, or broken windshield etc......Bob > Bob, > > The bid is $70,200 and the reserve is not met.
