| Ball valves in 60 series coolant lines
I have finally located the shut off valves in the coolant lines of my 1996 PT42 with the 60 series Detroit, they are ball valves not gate valves and are very difficult to see and even harder to reach. There are two and both are located on the left, (radiator) side of the engine. One is located along engine just above the coolant filter and the second one is located on the same side of the engine on the other side of the turbo. Wayne Kotila 96WBPT42

Thanks for the information. One never knows when you got to find those valves. Dirty ball valve can certainly be hard to identify. Eric Perplies 96' 42' WBWL currently outside of Ft. Wayne, IN
