Liftable Tag
My 97 has this feature. Is this the only year for this?

RE: Liftable Tag
Hey Ernie,
Bird Owner (Rich) reported in a separate thread that his '99 LXi had a liftable tag. david brady, '02 Wanderlodge LXi 'Smokey' (Sold), '04 Prevost H3 Vantare 'SpongeBob' "I don't like being wrong, but I really hate being right" |

RE: Liftable Tag
Our '99 has a steerable tag, BUT there is a labelled but unused spot for a switch on the dash that says "Tag Lift" suggesting this was a selectable option on the '99's.
Our steerable works great, but I can see the liftable tag being great on hills in snow to put more weight on the drive tires for slow speed crawling. More of a issue up here in the frozen north, I realize. RE: Liftable Tag
we experimented with that tag a week ago. It sure puts a lot of weight on the drive axle, as evidence the sidewalls of the tires change shape.
My sequence takes about a minute to actuate. Ernie Ekberg Prevost Liberty Classic XL Weatherford, Tx http://www.ernieekbergflooring.net |
