Air Step: won't stay in with sw turned "off"
Ed That seem normal to me as when my air pressure goes down my steps come
out to. I have never knew how to keep my steps in either. They should have made a way to keep them in When mine is let down off of the jacks it doesn't sit on the steps. Don 89 SP 36' Butler, PA Can someone explain how I can keep my steps retracted. I'm up on the jacks and want to retract the steps so I can let the rig down off the jacks.I have used aux comp to build up to 90 psi. The steps work with opening and closing the door, at 90 psi, but with step sw at door "off" the steps still work like in automatic. I dont want to let let rig down on steps. Last thing I did was at 90 psi, I turned sw "off" with steps retracted closed door and steps still retracted.. I pulled the tank drain cables on side of rig. When pressure got to a certain point while dumping, the steps came out. Is this normal? All I want to do is put the rig down off of the jacks.Any ideas?? thanks Ed Gardels 89sp Arlington, Tx. Ed,
I'm not familiar with the SP. Our 87 PT has the step switch on the dash. The switch by our door controls up/down of the floor in front of the passenger seat.
