Ok , how long should it take to heat the block up? should I leave it on

Hi Guy, I have found that 2-3 hours of block heater time is fine and results
is a good clean start except in the very worst of conditions (<0 degrees F). The problem is getting up that early before an early morning departure. I might also add that I always leave my PT-36 6V92 plugged in to AC until after I fire the engine. You might want to read the instructions that comes with the block
heater. It specifically states to not have the coach/truck plugged in to the AC when starting as it will drastically shorten the life of the heater... Hi Rob! Yep, I found out the hard way. Burned mine out and
replaced....found that juicy tidbit in the package and called Wayne's.
