Kuhmo Tires
I haven't seen any mention of Kuhmo tires in the recent discussions
about tires. I bought two for the front, almost three years ago, for
about $300 each. They've served me well, but I only drive between 1000
and 2000 miles per year on them. Henry F. Claeys, 1979 FC35, McAllen,

Kuhmo Tires
Hi Henry,

Thanks for your input. I am not familiar with that brand, but I will look into
them. After all the comments I got, I am getting gun shy about buying the 76
FC in San Antonio. The price might be attractive, but that might just be the
tip of the iceberg. Do you have the 534 gas or a cat diesel? This one is the
gas engine. The seller tells me that he has spent almost $3 on repairs on the
mechanicals. It is on Ebay as a 1976 Bluebird Wanderlodge. If you look at it,
let me know what you think. I would surely appreciate it

Thanks again for time
Chick

I installed a set of 6 16 ply 22.5 Kumhos with new Alcoas on my toter home a
couple of years ago. They ride nice and I don't have any complaints.

To Wanderlodge Owners,
I think it is very important to identify what we are driving when we sign our
posts. What may be a good fit for a FC33 may be very wrong for a PT40.

Tire application is dependent on axle weight and intended use. I hope most
coach owners who pay attention would be up to speed on this detail. If not
shame on them. These forums are only guide lines, some times based on member
experience, some times based on BS.
To clarify, I had the opportunity to compare 16 ply Kumho to 16 ply Michelin, on
the same vehicle, A/B test and was pleasantly surprised on how well the Kumhos
worked.

Scott,
No,,,,,,, I figured it would help make the point. I also wondered who would be
the first to notice and reply to my post. I'm not supprised it was you. It seems
that most post are for FC's but I still enjoy reading them. This is without a
doubt the most instructive site for BB WL owners.
