Generator fan
Hi Bob,
Since my gen set only has a fan with belts to crankshaft, no motor is attached...am I missing somethin here (besides finding my teeth?) You might be right, Bob, I will have to see the ratings of CFM
fans...maybe 2 fans side by side as seen on some cars? Hi I have a 1980fc33 with a12.5 kohler gen. A previous owner changed the
stock cooling fan with a plastic one which also reversed the direction of air flo. I am not happy with the cooling performance of this set up gen. will run up to 200 deg. with two A/C's on I have checked and tightened water pump belt on the perkins engine. I would like to find out the part number for the stock fan and hub assy. and where to purchase one. Thank you Mark |
