Guy & Hylah:
Welcome to Utah. I hope you get a chance to take the "Canyons by Day and Night" cruise. They also feature a Dutch Oven dinner that is out of this world. The facility is just across the bridge, left side (north side of the Colorado River). If you decide to enjoy this cruise and dinner, be sure to talk to Preston (owner) - he is the one who will likely welcome you, tall fella with a straw ten-gallon hat. Tell him that Joe (Elderhostel bus driver) sends regards. Also, Arches N.P. opened their new visitors center last summer - a must see, as is the park, plus Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point. Enjoy your stay.
