Follow up: Tail Lights
The mystery of the non-operating tail lights is solved. A wire had
pulled off the the back of the Bosch relay that controls them ... it was barely touching the terminal, so I'd get a 0.1 volt reading. Now I'm getting full voltage ... and a whole bunch of other lights came on that I didn't expect. Kind of like a Christmas tree -- parking lights and the 'bar' between the headlights. Didn't even realize that they were there. Also get a nasty "headlight alert" when the ignition key is off. I get the feeling that BB must have gotten a bargain on crummy sounding, annoying buzzers. Pete, the buzzers are free with the purchase of large quantities of solenoids.
