storms in LA
In Mandeville area everything seems ok except a little water. In
New Orleans on the other hand, its a mess. Over 30k people without power. Many homes in various stages of rebuild are gone now. A home open to pressure drops that you see in a tornado is bad news. Reports are early but looks like only one death. Thank god, it was not more. Many people are still out of their homes in Fema trailers waiting on the trickle slow flow of insurance and federal money coming into the region. Enough is enough.. Give them a break. storms in LA
Mike:
We made it O.K. The heavy storms hit us about 9:15 PM and lasted till 1:00 AM with large amounts of rain and a little hail. Thankfully we did not have a tornado here, but they did east of here. I would guess we had 3 to 4 inches worth. Today we have sunshine and a cool breeze. R.E.
