grandson to Sunspot- solar observatory. In the am go down to Alamogordo and go
to
White Sands. Lots of other places to see, also.

Hello everyone:

This past weekend, there was a Lone Star Bird's Rally held at Traders
Village near Dallas/FtWorth. 12 Coaches were in attendance with several
being there a day or two early.

A good time was had by all. We had "lookers" big time and several groups of
people making special trips over to ask questions about all the Bird's that
were there. Friday was fairly cool, in the low 80's but a good wind blowing
but Sat was hot hot hot!!! Several trips to the car show and car parts area
were made by the guys as several of the gals loaded up for a trip to the
fabric store. There was a purse making seminar in the Club house while the
guys talked about, yep you guessed it, Bird's.

Rick A. spotted a runaway parakeet under our Coach and the colors matched
the Coach. Bird's of a feather thing??

Sat night featured a blue grass music group as we ate smoked brisquit and
water melon. Also I want to mention a fruit salad by Faye C. that was to
die for! As was all the other preparations by everyone.

Many of the regulars were missed as they could not make it to this one but
all were thought of. It was good for Charolette and I and granddaughter to
be able to see and visit with friends.

Howdy, Ralph and Charolette.
Thanks for uploading the rally photos. Sure enjoyed viewing them. We
are also glad that you felt well enough to attend the rally.
Charolette looks really good, too.
We are still looking for a cool place to go to, in NM or CO.
