for sale 1985 PT40
I am ready to sell my 1985 PT40.
This coach is an extremely road ready unit that has been thoroughly updated and maintenanced. Have complete file on updates and maintenance, including every fuel fill-up, oil change, air bag replacement, Inverter installation, tires, shocks, brakes, alternator, upholstery, pilot/co-pilot seats, carpet, tile, fridge, water heater and associated hoses, furnace, gen insulation, new Ramco polished aluminum power/heated mirrors, new back-up camera, $5,000 basement entertainment system, full width joey, 320 amp alternator($1,600), complete exhaust, air compressor, thermostats, trans service(Transynd everytime $200 in fluid each time), the chassis A/C system updated to R134a($2,500), replaced all 3 roof airs new in 6/2004. The $10k that forum members recommend you have, if buying a Bird, will not be necessary with this coach. I have owned this coach with an open check book. I would offer this to my mom without reservation. It has been thru both east and west mountains and coasts, the gulf, New York, Florida, California, and all of the midwest. It can be started and driven to the left coast without so much as a fuel stop. This coach is road ready at all times. Guys that have been around during my ownership and provided support while updates were performed would include in some degree: Randy Dupree, John Finn, Tom Meservey, Tom Sorrentino, Raph Fullenwider, Bob Loomis(he has advised me on many things with this coach), and Shane Fideli. Any these people would be able to give you some insight into my ownership characteristics and my coach. Shane Fideli and Bob Loomis would probably be most knowledgable because they own the same model coaches- 1985 PT's. I have owned this unit since March of 2003 and have continously maintained and updated it to its current condition. I have a very organized file to substaniate and document the updates. There is a booklet that has been kept in chronological order of every procedure including all fuel fills. Take a look at it at http://www.HPRCoach.com. I paid $65k for this coach in 2003. Have spent $30k in upgrades. Most of the $30k is parts not labor. Have well organized documentation to back-up this claim. $65k will buy it.
