Spring Trip
-Don
Just as you said . Fuel and propane full. 3.939 seemed like a bargain..if you consider SoCal prices. Mario 1985fc35 -- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Don Bradner" > > Before someone notes it, I should point out that both the 3.939 and 4.019 prices are "cash" prices, and use of a credit card adds 6 cents per gallon, so the price on the pump in the truck section at Ehrenberg will say 4.079 today. BUT, if you have a Flying J RV rewards card, credit card price is same as cash, with another cent per gallon discount. > > The Flying J page previously linked at http://www.flyingj.com/fuel/diesel_CF.cfm gives truck cash prices. If you use the "gasoline" page at http://www.flyingj.com/fuel/gasoline_CF.cfm you will see that it also includes "Car/RV Diesel" and the RV price will be correct for states like Oregon and Arizona where cars/rvs and trucks are priced differently. > > The exact method I use is: > > Swipe Flying J card at truck pump. > Choose Pay Inside > Press Enter on N/A items like unit number and hub odometer > Answer state and license number if prompted > Pump fuel > Go inside and offer both FJ card and (non-VISA) credit card, saying "RV on pump ###, already pumped." > Try not to have a heart attack when seeing the bottom line > > In AZ, the slip will show the total at the credit truck price, then a 6 cent per gallon cash deduction, then an 8 cent per gallon "lightweight" deduction, then a 1 cent per gallon FJ Rewards deduction. > > On 4/15/2008 at 9:16 AM Don Bradner wrote: > > >Mario, the 4.019 price is for trucks.
