Bluebird rest area in central IL
I just posted pictures and contact info regarding the retired IL
rest area that I now own and is available as a stop over. The rest
area now has 5 50amp plugs, no water or sewer yet...next year.

You are welcome to use it, would just call ahead so I can make
certain that I don't have something in your way. You will NOT have
to disconnect your towed to stop over. The pull thrus are 85' long.

There is no fee to stopover, however, the electricity is provided by
a rural coop and is pretty dam expensive. My July electric bill for
just my PT40 and a Prevost running 1 a/c, was $270. A donation is
appreciated if you use a lot of electricity, but certainly is not
required!

Jay, thats a real nice offer. My electric bill out here is over a grand each month because I go over the alotted amount and end up paying 35 cents per the kilowat hour for that in excess. I found out that the amonia refers , old chargers and ac units are watt hogs. The amonia refers havean electric heater and eat 10 times the juice of a freon refer. (wonder if the light goes out when you close the door?).

In an attempt to trac electric usage in my shop and on a yard attendants trailer,I found electric meters on ebay for sale by a large recalibration company, $20.00 each. They have mounting hardware sockets for the same price. it seems that the utility companies are switching over to units that can be read via radio and the recalibrater has thousands of recent style digital units on hand.
