Howdy, Y'all.
Thank you to all who replied to our plea for help RE: the front AC ceiling grill dripping water onto the carpet. Jack forced about 10 ft. of coaxial cable up the drain tube slowly and carefully. When he pulled the cable back out, there was no water draining out. Then he went back up on the roof, carrying a pint of water in a squeeze bottle with the idea of getting some sort of flow going in that tube. HOWEVER, when he removed the AC cover, all of a sudden(and I was watching the catch bucket on the ground) water just poured out of that tube like a cow on a flat rock and into the bucket. He yelled down to me that he didn't put the water in, yet. WOW. Somehow he unblocked that tube. Then he put about a pint of water and chlorine bleach solution down that tube also. Vooschhhhhhhhhhhh. Put cover back on and came down off of roof. About 1/2 hour later, I checked the drain tube catch bucket and there must be about 1 gallon of water in there. And this took care of the condensate running across the roof and down the side. Thanks again to all that replied. Just a guess here Liz but could the AC cover have been crimping the tube and

Jack says no. He feels that he loosened the blockage with the coax. When he walked across the roof, the blockage in the tube was jarred loose. This AM, the catch bucket was absolutely full. A cow doesn't pour, she pi**es. A cow can empty her bladder in an amazingly short time period.It's an old expression used when something, especially a liquid, goes everywhere. I'm 69 and it was around when I was a kid. Pour has been substituted for slang word, as in, "Pi**ed Off", "Pi**ing match", or, "Pi**ing away the time", I do not know if there has been a study on a bumpy rock, but I would assume it would go everywhere also. It is not in the pour but in the bounce.
A flat rock creates close to a 360 degree shower that catches everyone nearby. Bumpy rocks tend to create a shower in only a couple of directions that can be avoided if seen coming. At least that's what I remember and I'm sticking to it.
